In this hammering arcade game, it's your job to splat as many suffering pop-up gnomes as possible. Each gnome appears from a hole in the garden, much like the moles you might be used to hitting in a similar adventure, and, in the early levels at least, appear to wait until you crush them into tiny pieces. As the levels progress you have to hammer the gnomes more than once making it more difficult.
The graphics are extremely bright and the gnomes, daresay it, are quite cute. There's some fun music and nice squashing sound effects. And if you get tired of blowing-up the bearded ones, you can aim your hammer at flowers and coins for bonuses. All in all it's good mindless fun but it could do with speeding up a bit.
